Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is making rounds in the rumor mill ahead of its alleged MWC 2018 launch. However, latest leak claim that Xiaomi is actually preparing two entirely new versions of the Redmi Note 5 and also cleared the 3C certification.
According to MyDrivers, the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has been certified by 3C in China, which hints at the near launch. Two models, Xiaomi MEE7S and MET7S have been spotted getting the 3C certification in China. The report the base variant of the new Redmi Note 5 will come featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, while the top-variant will boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is rumored to boast a 5.99-inch full-HD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The lower variant of the device will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, whilst higher Redmi Note 5 is reported to have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will sport dual camera, which the consumers should watch out for; as it is reported to have a 16-megapixel primary camera sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary camera sensor at the rear side of the phone. Additionally, on the front, there will be the 8-megapixel camera.

Redmi Note 5 is said to be priced in China for CNY 1499, which is approximately $238. Moreover, the higher version at CNY 1,799 that is approximately $285.
For the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 release, previous reports have claimed that the Redmi 5 Plus will be rebranded as the Redmi Note 5 when it hits the Indian market. However, the Chinese company launched the Redmi 5 Plus in China last month. Now, the Redmi Note 5 phones are said to get released next month. There is a little chance that they can be unveiled at MWC 2018 alongside the Mi 7.
