Xiaomi Mi A3 (aka Mi 7X): Release Date, Price, Specs And Rumors
The Xiaomi Mi A3 (aka Mi 7X) is said to be coming next year and Xiaomi fans are excited for it due to the success of its predecessor — Mi 6X (aka Mi A2) — which was announced and released last July.
So, what are the rumored specs and features of the successor? Well, let’s find out.
The Release Date
According to The Leaker, for its Global release, the Xiaomi Mi A3 will be released in mid-Q3 2019. Furthermore, according to Awok back in August, the said device will hit the UAE market in November or December 2019.
The Price Tag
As for its price tag, The Leaker suggests it could be priced at $255 to $270 for the top model. In addition to that, the site also noted that the 64GB model costs 15,000 INR ($210) while the 128GB model costs 17,000 INR ($238). Meanwhile, Awok reports that several online sources suggest that the estimated price could be around AED 1630 ($444) and AED 1790 ($487).
The Display & Color Design
The Xiaomi Mi A3 will feature a 6.2-inch ISP LCD display (its predecessor came with 5.99-inch display) with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels. It will be protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. As for its color, the said phone will come in two variations: Super Black and Peral White.
Regarding its processor, it’s unclear whether it will be packed with Snapdragon 670 or 675 chip. In addition to this, earlier reports claimed that it could be armed with a Snapdragon 865 chip for the Xiaomi Mi A3 (5G) in UAE.
However, if we’re going to compare it to its predecessor, it housed a Snapdragon 660 chip. So by the very least, the SD 670 and 675 chips seem more probable. But who knows? Perhaps Xiaomi might surprise us.
For its RAM, it is said to be 4GB/6GB/8GB. Meanwhile, the built-in memory could be 64GB/128GB.
For its primary camera, it will sport a dual camera setup (12MP + 12MP). Meanwhile, the secondary camera features 20MP.
Battery-wise, The Xiaomi Mi A3 will be powered by a 3,300 mAh battery with a battery life of one day (mixed usage) and screen-on time of 5-6 hours (mixed usage). Charging time will be 1 hour and 40 minutes for it to be fully charged.
Connectivity-wise, it is expected to come with 4G, Dual VoLTE, 3G GSM, 2G GSM, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, and GPS+GLONASS. And as already mentioned by Awok, the model with the SD 865 chip that will be launched in the UAE will come with 5G.
