Where is iPhone SE2? Every Major Thing We Know So Far!
Recent reports have suggested that Apple will only be releasing 3 iPhone models this year. However, among those three, the iPhone SE2 isn’t included which begs the question: Will it even be released?
Is it Not Coming?
The iPhone SE 2 was first rumored to arrive around May but failed to materialize. Next, it was expected to show up in June at the WWDC event but was still a no-show.
According to Forbes, it seems like the said iPhone model won’t be coming this year. The source came from Olixar, a well-known case maker with a remarkable track record regarding smartphone leaks.
Olixar claimed that new sources have confirmed that there won’t be an iPhone model similar to the size of the iPhone SE coming this year. Instead, coming this year will be the largest iPhone models that Apple has ever made.
Olixar is so confident about this information that he even started a production on its official line of accessories. It depicts three sizes:
- 5.8 inches
- 6.1 inches – Previous reports have indicated that this is the “budget” iPhone and will feature an LCD screen and could cost between $649 and $699.
- 6.5 inches
So What iPhone Models Are Coming This Year?
Forbes notes that Apple will be releasing three models. The models are:
- iPhone X — 6 x 70.9 mm (5.65 x 2.79 inches)
- iPhone X Plus — 157.2 x 77.1 mm (6.18 x 3.03 inches)
