If someone has to name one web-show that the whole nation is waiting for with bated breath, it has to be none other than the Netflix original Sacred Games 2. After the humongous success of Sacred Games, the first installment of the digital series, Sacred Games 2 is returning very soon and as days are passing by, diehard fans of the series are finding it tough to contain their excitement. Almost everyone is eager to know what Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) and Inspector Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan) are up to in the second season of the series.

Currently being shot in Mumbai, Netflix’s Sacred Games 2 is expected to break all records of viewership upon its premiere. Spilling some beans on the second season of the hotly popular series, casting director Shivam Gupta told an entertainment portal, “Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui will blow your mind away in the second season of the web-series. You cannot even imagine how big it would be.”

While we saw a host of skilled actors in Sacred Games, its second installment also boasts of some incredibly talented actors. According to Shivam, the audience is going to see many new characters in the series. “If you were amazed by the actors in the first season, the second one will have talents that have never been seen on screen,” added the casting director.

Now the main question that arises is: when the series is finally going to stream on Netflix? While Netflix is yet to announce any official date for the premiere of Sacred Games 2, Nawazuddin Siddiqui had earlier told one of the leading English dailies that it might start streaming somewhere around June or August. “It should arrive between June and August. You will forget the first season after watching the second season,” the ace actor had said.
