Watch: The End Of The F***ing World's Trailer Is Now Out
The latest entertainment news has brought in a grand surprise for us this New Year. Netflix has released the trailer for the most anticipated series, The End of the F***ing World, today on Youtube. The dark British drama-comedy is reportedly an adaptation of the 2013 graphic novel of the same name. It was written by Charles Forsman.
The End Of The F***Ing World trailer introduces the psychopath Alex & a badass Alyssa
The trailer showcases Alex Lawther as James, who describes himself as a psychopath. He has “a penchant for harming himself and animals”. Alyssa (Jessica Barden), on the other hand, “is a rebellious teen with an enthusiasm for swearing and looking to bring some excitement to her boring life”.
The 17-year-old James is least enthusiastic about everything in life and aims to feel better. He then meets Alyssa, who is also of the same age. He tries to make a connection with her, however, she insists him to “embark on a road trip in search of her real father”. As they start their new journey, things turn wary and worse. But, the teens can’t do anything about it and is compelled to complete their road trip.
Refinery29 has revealed that The End of the F***ing World will release on January 5, 2018. As per the latest entertainment news, Netflix has partnered with E4 for the new series. It will be premiered in the UK on Channel 4 in the month of October.
According to Screen Rant, The End of the F***ing World copies the similar dark comedy style like Netflix’s I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore. It also pretty much follows Orange is the New Black.
The series will also feature Gemma Whelan, Wunmi Mosaku, Steve Oram (Plays the father of James in the series), Christine Bottomley and Navin Chowdhry.
