The Walking Dead 10: From Premiere Date To Cast, We’ve Got Everything That You Need To Know
After winning millions of hearts and gaining a cult following across the entire length and breadth of the globe with it’s nine immensely successful seasons, AMC horror series The Walking Dead, which runs on FOX, is presently having a mid-season break in its ninth season. While the latest season is off for a break, whispers have started gathering momentum about the season of the much-loved series.
Before we talk about The Walking Dead 10, let us inform our readers when season nine would return from its mid-season break recently. The second part of The Walking Dead 9 is set to premiere on February 10, 2019. As far as season 10 is concerned, Scott Gimple, Chief Content Officer of the show, once suggested the show could run for 20 years. “We are trying to do 20 years – the comic has certainly done it, and I look forward to every issue,” he was reported as saying in 2017.
If things fall into place, TWD 10 will premiere in October 2019. Why do we believe so? Come on, we all know that every season of the horror series has hit the tube at some point in October since its first season in 2010. So it should not come as a surprise if the new season also lands around the same time next year. Look at the pattern! The mid-season hiatus’ often begin in late November or early December, returning in the early months of the following year – season 10 would likely follow the same time schedule.
Talking about the star cast for the new season, there is no update on the same. However, one character that is certainly not returning in the 10th season is Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln. The said character is exciting the show and the same has been confirmed in the latest season. Daryl, played by Norman Reedus, has been a constant in all seasons, so his return is very much possible. Carol, played by Melissa McBride and Michonne, played by Danai Gurira could also return for a season 10.
