There are a lot of activities happening these days in the iOS jailbreak world. New developers are creating new exploits every day. Fully untether jailbreaks are a rare commodity in the jailbreak community. However, latest tweet by the developer of Meridian jailbreak hints that they might come back for iOS 10.3.3 soon.

Meridian is a semi-tethered jailbreak tool for iOS 10.3.3 and according to its developer, Ben Sparkes, a full untether is possible on iOS 10 and above versions. Since all Apple devices are capable of running iOS 10 so they are compatible with it. The developer of Meridian iOS 10.3.3 jailbreak is currently said to be developing a Cydia build of Meridian jailbreak that utilizes Comex’s Substitute.

In a Twitter post, Sparkes has shared the news that iPhone 6, iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 devices may be able to be jailbroken across iOS 10.x without the need for tethering. This is something which is not currently available.

A fully untethered jailbreak tool will benefit those users who have decided to stay on iOS 10. Moreover, this will benefit the users with A7 models, which exhibit poor performance on modern iOS versions.

For the release of Untethered iOS 10.3.3 Jailbreak, Sparkes has not given any indications, more information is expected to available soon. However, the fact that he is working on it might probably give hope that we can see something in the future. Stay tuned with us for more updates on jailbreak news.
