Surface Studio 2 GeekBench Result Features Intel’s Core i7-7820HQ And 32GB RAM

This year, there were some reports and rumors suggesting that Microsoft could release the Surface Studio 2. This time around, it seems that that rumor could be true as evidence of its existence has been spotted on a GeekBench result.

The Result

A GeekBench result for the Surface Studio 2 has been spotted.  On the result, the all-in-one PC scored 4,860 on its Single-Core Score and a whopping 15,915 on its Multi-Core score which is pretty impressive.

But the most eye-catching part of the result is the RAM and processor. As you can see, it features 32GB of RAM and packed with Intel’s Core i7-7820HQ.

When Is It Coming?

The first-generation model was unveiled in October of 2016 and then later released in December. Based on this information, we’re expecting Microsoft to follow the same schedule as well. As a matter of fact, next month on the 2nd of October, the company will be hosting its “A moment of your time” event at 4:00 p.m. ET in New York City.

However, there are others possibilities that need to be considered. What if Surface Studio 2 will be announced and released in the same month? Another is that, what if it won’t pop up during the event? Well, we just have to wait and see.

How Much Will It Cost?

For its price tags, we don’t know exactly how much, but we can look at the launch price of the predecessor. During its launching, it came in with three base prices:

  • Intel Core i5-6440HQ
  • GTX 965M GPU
  • 8 GB of RAM
  • 1 TB with 64GB SSD.

  • Intel Core i7-6820HQ
  • GTX 965M GPU
  • 16 GB of RAM
  • 1 TB with 128GB SSD.

  • Intel Core i7-6820HQ
  • GTX 980M GPU
  • 32 GB of RAM
  • 2 TB with 128GB SSD.

With the 3 price tags mentioned, reports suggest that it could come in with the similar price or just a bit higher. It will be hard to imagine Microsoft driving the price lower.
