Sony Xperia XZ3 – Everything You Need To Know About the Next Flagship
The time is so fast, especially in the smartphone industry. The tech company Sony seems to be in works and will be releasing the new flagship smartphone Sony Xperia XZ3 making avid fans rejoice. However, we must be aware first of the latest details about the successor of the current Xperia XZ2.
According to Stuff, the release date will be on August 30 at the annual Berlin tech show IFA 2018. The company will hold a press conference to unveil Sony Xperia XZ3 in Berlin. Then, the device will go on sale in September. This device was shown six months ago at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in February.
In terms of specification, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC processor will power the device. This chip is the same as seen on the current OnePlus 6. Then, the upcoming device will also feature the LCD panel display with 5.7 inches from corner to corner and the resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The internal storage will be 64GB with 6GB RAM.
The screen will have a curved edge like the design of the current Nokia 8 Sirocco. The bezels will be chunky and above and below the screen. The device will come running the Android Oreo 8.1 instead of the Android 9.0 P operating system. The final version of the Android 9 will be launched sometime in the coming months.
In the photography department, the front-facing camera will have 13-megapixel selfie snapper. Then, a pair of rear cameras will offer 19 megapixels and 12 megapixels. There will also be a decent 3,240mAh capacity battery, MicroSD expansion, a USB-C connector for both charging and audio output without a headphone port for the 3.5-millimeter headphone jack.
The potential price point for this upcoming device will start at £699 at the launch date and somehow will be up for pre-order at a price of £749.99. This makes sense for a next-generation model because the Xperia XZ2 cost £699 during its launch.
