A lot of fans are waiting for the Apple Watch Series 4 launch next month. Ahead of the device’s release date, the Cupertino-based tech company registered six models in Eurasian Economic Commission.

According to MacRumors, Apple has filed six Apple Watch Series 4 model numbers in the Eurasian Economic Commission yesterday, August 20, 2018. The model numbers include: A1977, A1978, A1975, A1976, A2007, and A2008, the French blog Consomac specified in its article. It is also worth mentioning that the filings are legitimately required for any encrypted devices that will be sold in Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Belarus.

Moreover, the aforementioned model numbers possibly correspond with the extensively rumored Watch Series 4 line-up. Also, the filing revealed that the models run on the watchOS 5.

It can be recalled that Apple also submitted similar filings and registrations with the Eurasian Economic Commission for the 2018 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, AirPods, 10.5-inch iPad Pro, 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and lower-cost 9.7-inch iPad, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and Apple Watch Series 2. Typically, Apple is filling one to two weeks before each of the product’s release date.

The only distinctive feature of this year’s filings is that there are only six unreleased Apple Watch Series 4 model numbers while the Series 3 lineup has eight model numbers. This includes six LTE models and two aluminum GPS-only models, including stainless steel, aluminum, and ceramic variations in two sizes.  Unsurprisingly, this has directed to some assumption that there might not be ceramic Apple Series 4 models, but then this isn’t confirmed yet and is advised to be taken with skepticism.

As for the other features, it can be remembered earlier this year that a well-connected Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated that the Apple Watch 4 will flaunt a 15 percent larger displays. It will also boast a longer battery life and a better-quality health monitoring abilities.

The Apple Watch Series 4 is expected to hit the center stage on September 12, with the invitations for the media going out in before the month of August ends. Always keep an eye for further announcements regarding the upcoming Apple Watch!
