Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 Running On Android 8.1 With Book Cover Keyboard Spotted

The Galaxy Tab S4 is one of the highly anticipated Samsung products and many are on the lookout for new details regarding it. This time, reports suggest that the said device will be running on Android 8.1.0 Oreo and will come with Book Cover Keyboard.

New Information Revealed

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 with the model number SM-T837P was spotted on the HTML5test browser benchmark website. The said Samsung device scored 512 out of 555 points, runs on Android 8.1.0 Oreo and will come with Book Cover Keyboard.

Comparing It To The Previous Rumors

Back in February of 2018, GSM Arena reported a benchmark result for a Samsung Device with the model number SM-T835. At that time, many suggested that it was the Galaxy Tab S4 because the model number given to the Galaxy Tab S3 was SM-T820/SM-825. As for the device with the model number SM-T835, its specs and features are said to be:

  • Runs on Android 8.0.0 Oreo
  • Features a 2560×1600 touchscreen display with at least 5 finger gesture support
  • Octa Core CPU @2.3Ghz
  • Qualcomm Adreno TM540
  • OpenGL ES 3.2
  • 1 GB memory
  • 52 GB Storage
  • 12 MP rear camera
  • 7 MP front camera

Furthermore, rumors also claim that the device features a 10.5-inch display and an Adreno 540 which they believe could be a strong indication of Snapdragon 835 SoC. In addition, it will also feature 4 GB RAM, 64 GB Storage and 12/8MP cameras.

  • 16:50 resolution for its 10.5-inch display
