Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 Might be Introduced This August 1, Teasing Note 9 Ahead Its Launch
The Korean tech company Samsung is going to host a launch event scheduled for Wednesday, August 1 at 11 a.m. EDT (4 p.m. GMT). There is a huge possibility that the company is working on two tablets named Galaxy Tab S4 and Tab Advanced 2 based on Android even if we have not seen a glimpse of both devices.
According to TechRadar, their website just received an official invite today. The upcoming event is expected to be a special sneak peek live stream. This is speculated to be the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, which had been rumored to arrive sometime in the latter half of this year.
In terms of specification, the Tab S4 with a plain design is rumored to feature a new detachable keyboard, large bezels around the screen, and an iris scanner to replace the fingerprint sensor without buttons on the front, which may be seen on the screen. A single-lens camera will be on the rear. There will be at least two speaker grilles.
The new S Pen with a glossier finish is speculated to bundle up and might have the same rumored Bluetooth features as the Note 9’s S Pen stylus. The back of the device is made of glass. Overall, the tablet might come with a 16:10 aspect ratio, making it bigger than its predecessor.
Speaking of which, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will also be updated on the event to take on the iPad Pro. This tablet made its debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 press conference. It gave a hint at the current Galaxy S8 in silhouette. This is about to happen again since the company is known to launch new tablets before a new phone.
This live stream event for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 will tease the Note 9. It will be a separate event from the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event. The latter is already set on August 9 and might possibly be the launch of the Note 9.
