Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Leaked Hands-on Video, Renders and More
A leaked hands-on video featuring the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has been spotted. In addition to that, user-designed renders of the said device have also been spotted.
The Leaked Video
According to reports, the hands-on video was posted on Vimeo by a person named Fariz Azizov. But if you go to Slash Leaks, the contributor is named Fariz L.
On the 10-second video, the user showcases the front and back design. On the front design, we can see that it is dominated by a dual-curved display. Meanwhile, the side features two buttons on the left and one button on the right.
As for the back, we can see a horizontal-stacked dual-lens camera setup, and next to it what could possibly be a LED flash module. Lastly, below the camera is a fingerprint sensor.
On another leak, DesignWoOS released renders for the Note 9. The renders feature the front and back design.
Comparing it to the hands-on video, the renders do look quite similar: the buttons on the side, the curved edges, the camera setup, and fingerprint scanner. The only obvious difference if we are to be so picky, it would be the sizes. As you can see, the space on the top and the bottom portion of the front design seems to short.
When Is The Release Date?
The unpacking event will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on August 9, 2018. Following that, pre-orders will start on August 14, while sales will begin on August 24.
The Price Tag
Its predecessor, the Note 8 retailed for $929 at its launch. With this, reports suggest that the upcoming device will come close to this price range and possibly even a bit higher. Meanwhile, in India, it is expected to cost around Rs. 70,000 which translates to $1,017.
