Samsung Galaxy A7 Launched in India: Mid-Range Flagship With Killer Specs and Triple Lens Camera
Samsung has launched its first triple camera phone dubbed as Galaxy A6 in India. The mid-range flagship cost Rs 23,990 for 4GB RAM and 64GB variant. Team 73Buzz attended the launch event and got hands-on experience of the device.
Samsung Galaxy A7 sports a huge 6-inch FHD+ display with thin bezels and powered by Exynos 7885 chipset. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 3, while the rear side boasts 2.5D glass coating. The flagship will also be sold with the higher variant of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage that will cost Rs 28,990. The fingerprint sensor of the device is located in the power button on the right side.
Galaxy A7’s main attraction is its triple lens camera, which consists of a 24MP Auto Focus primary lens with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP Ultra wide lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 120-degree 5MP depth-sensing lens with f/2.2 aperture. Additionally, on the front side, it comes with a 24 MP front-facing snapped that has f/2.0 aperture. For the charging, the phone uses Type-C port and features a 3.5 mm headphone jack at the bottom.
Samsung Galaxy A7 is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7885 chipset and coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. The device also supports expandable storage up to 512GB via a microSD card and boasts a 3,300 mAh battery. However, one thing is disappointing that the newly launched Galaxy A7 is still on Android 8.0 Oreo even though the Android 9 Pie is already rolled out.
The triple lens phone has been launched in three color variants i.e. blue, black, and gold. Samsung Galaxy A7 will be available to grab through early access on September 27 and on September 28 via preview sale on Flipkart and Samsung store.
