Saif Ali Khan’s Much-Delayed Film ‘Baazaar’ Locks A New Release Date

Making films is one thing, and releasing them is another. There are so many things involved in ensuring a smooth theatrical release of a movie across the country. In absence of a proper strategy, releasing a film is not less than setting the Thames on fire. The makers of the forthcoming Hindi film Baazaar can tell you exactly how it feels when the product of your labor fails to enter markets to yield profits for the stakeholders.

Baazaar is a film which was ready for release almost one and a half year ago, but it could not enter cinemas for one or the other reason. However, the latest we hear that the makers have finally locked a new release date for the movie. Baazaar, starring Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, and Chitrangada Singh, is a stock market-themed thriller, will hit the silver screen on 26th October. It is directed by Gauravv K Chawla.

The film’s producer, Nikkhil Advani, took to his Twitter account to announce the release date of the film with fans. “Baazaar chalu che!!!” Excited to announce our next in born, in bred and in house chokras step into the world. @gauravvkchawla you’re up!!! @EmmayEntertain @monishaadvani @madhubhojwani @KytaProductions @Viacom18Movies @BaazaarFilm #Oct26.”

Talking about Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming projects, the National Award-winning actor is presently shooting for Navdeep Singh’s forthcoming film Hunter wherein he is playing a Naga Sadhu. The movie is being made under the banner of renowned filmmaker Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions. He will also start shooting for the second season of popular Netflix India original series Sacred Games wherein he plays the character of Sartaj Singh. Buzz also has it that Saif Ali Khan has given his nod to star in superstar Ajay Devgn’s much-awaited war period drama Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior, which goes on floors early next year.
