Rockstar More Excited For GTA 6 Than The Red Dead Redemption 2, Here’s Why
The Red Dead Redemption 2 is the upcoming major game made by Rockstar and the video game promises that it will be as huge as the GTA 5. Nonetheless, the New York City-based company is allegedly more excited with the GTA 6 than its forthcoming game.
According to NSEAVoice, even though the Red Dead Redemption 2 will be launch earlier than the GTA 6, Rockstar is not hoping too much with the video game. As a matter of fact, the video game publisher admitted that the company is more excited for the GTA 6 as the said video game promises to be an even greater record-breaker compared to its predecessor, the GTA 5.
However, for the Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar has quoted that the cowboy flavor is not for everybody and the Red Dead label is not as widely held as the GTA. With that, Rockstar is not hoping that much with the RDR 2 although the company will surely be thrilled if the video game can repeat the success of the GTA 5.
It is also worth noting that this is just a fair point for Rockstar to make, most particularly after it was able to turn the GTA 5 into the most profitable video games in history. Meanwhile, the Red Dead Series is popular but not as immense as the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Thus, Rockstar is just making a fair point.
The Red Dead Redemption 2 is confirmed to launch on October 26, 2018, while the GTA 6 release is still in a blur. There were rumors suggesting that the much-anticipated GTA 5 successor will be released next year while other video game enthusiasts are predicting for 2020 launch. Since these are based on rumors and Rockstar hasn’t provided any details regarding the GTA 6 release, these are advised to be taken with skepticism. Always stay tuned as we’ll surely keep you updated regarding this video game’s launch schedule.
