American adult animated science fiction sitcom Rick and Morty, created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Cartoon Network, enjoys huge popularity in various parts of the world. After the three hugely successful seasons of the animated series, the makers are now gearing up to roll out the Rick and Morty Season 4 and fans are curious to know what new is in store in the upcoming season.

While the makers are yet to announce the official premiere date for Rick and Morty Season 4, a recent post from Justin Roiland, the co-curator of the series, has got fans hooked. If you read the post very carefully, you can find in it hints about the return of one of the most memorable characters from season 1 of the series. People who claim to be the diehard fans of the series would know that the Smith family had a dog called Snuffles, which is based on the real-life pet of Roiland named Jerry. The dog may make a comeback to the series after a long time now.

Roiland, on Monday, took to his Instagram account and shared a picture featuring two screamingly lovable dogs that seem to have chilling out at the beach.“Rick and Morty season four is happening,” Roiland wrote in the post, adding, “It’s amazing. It’s coming. No need to be upset that I also make other things. Also, no need to argue with the folks begging for S4. I take it as a compliment.”

We just wish that Roiland does bring Snuffles back to Rick and Morty Season 4 because, of all the characters that we have seen on the show over the years, this comeback is the most awaited one. Talking about the premiere date of Rick and Morty Season 4, it is expected to hit airwaves in late 2019 or perhaps even 2020.
