Latest Oppo R19 and OnePlus 7 Renders Leaked
Next week, OnePlus will be launching the OnePlus 6T smartphone on the 29th. But before the OnePlus 6T will be released, we may have already an idea what the OnePlus 7 could look like – all thanks to a new render reveal for the Oppo R19.
The Render Design
Spotted at the Chinese microblogging site Weibo is a render for the Oppo R19. On the photo reveals some interesting details.
Firstly, let’s talk about the message on the right side that reads “2019.3”. Does this mean that it could be launched in March of 2019?
Secondly is the front design. The upcoming OnePlus 6T is similarly designed like the Oppo R17 which was announced this year last August and then released the following month. Because of this, tech enthusiasts are expecting that OnePlus 7 could follow this design of Oppo R19.
Note: OnePlus and Oppo are owned by the same parent company, BBK, which also happens to owns Vivo. OnePlus, however, is a subsidiary of Oppo.
Looking at the front design of the Oppo R19, there’s basically no difference whatsoever compared to the Oppo R17 except for the notch. It’s almost as if like the person/people who created it just took an existing photo of the Oppo R17 and then photoshopped the teardrop notch.
As for the back design, there are no changes. The vertical dual camera is there, LED flash and even the placing of the logo are the same.
When Is The OnePlus 7 Coming?
To speculate when the OnePlus 7 could be launched, we’re going to look at the release dates of the previous models:
- OnePlus One – June 2014
- OnePlus 2 – August 2015
- OnePlus X – November 2015
- OnePlus 3 – June 2016
- OnePlus 3T – November 2016
- OnePlus 5 – June 2017
- OnePlus 5T – November 2017
- OnePlus 6 – May 2018
Based on the release dates, we can assume that it could be released either in June or May of 2019. But of course, this is assuming that the company will stay faithful with their annual releases.
