Redmi Note 6 Latest Leak Reveals Strong Features Coming; Specs and Release Date Detailed
The Chinese tech giant Xiaomi had a huge success in India and some in the Asian markets. Now, they are expanding in some European markets. A leak just recently surfaced online that the company will likely introduce new devices like Redmi Note 6, a variant in the Redmi 6 Series, Mi 7 Lite, and a batch of Mi handsets in Europe.
The company seems to have issued an EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) certificate, which got leaked, was filed on May 11 and will be valid until December 31, 2023. The certification revealed a list of devices that were launched already like the dual-lensed Redmi S2 under the Redmi S series and that are yet to arrive like the Redmi Note 6 and its new lineup.
According to GadgetsNow, in terms of specification, this Note 5 successor is expected to feature a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2160 pixels and 424 pixels per inch (ppi). It will come running Android v8.0 (Oreo) operating system and Adreno 506 GPU to make games run smoothly.
Powering it up is an octa-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage with an option to expand its memory by up to 128GB on board. It will flaunt a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC chipset with a fingerprint sensor.
On the photography department, the upcoming smartphone might have a 13-megapixel camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED Flash and autofocus. It will be packed with a non-replaceable 3500mAh Li-Ion capacitative battery and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Additionally, alongside this phone, two new handsets named the Redmi 6 Plus and Redmi 6a Plus are also mentioned under the Redmi 6 series in the leaked listing. The release date of this phone is expected to unveil at the end of this year. Some speculated to debut on June 20. The launching timeline of the mentioned devices is quite broad.
