Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Massive LEAK Confirms Vertical Dual Camera And Other Specs Ahead Of MWC 2018 Launch
There’s no update from Xiaomi on the launch of the Redmi Note 5, but the latest renders appeared online hints a stunning design. The latest renders disclose that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will have enormously top and bottom bezels with minimal bezels on the side.
The latest renders have been spotted on the website named targetyoutube. According to renders, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 could pack an 18:9 display with very thin top and bottom bezels. On the rear side of the device, the dual-camera module is said to be placed vertically, followed by the LED flash and a fingerprint sensor. In the dual camera, there will be 16MP primary sensor coupled with a 5MP depth sensor. The primary camera may remain same as Note 4.
Under the hood, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will boast the Snapdragon 636 SoC that is an upgrade from the Snapdragon 625 chipset found in Redmi Note 4. However, the upcoming device will boast similar RAM configuration as its predecessor, 3GB RAM with 32GB and 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will boast a 4,100mAh battery like its predecessor but the device will feature the Quick Charge 4.0 for the faster charging. Upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi will be available in three color variants grey, blue and black. Regarding the price, reports claim that the smartphone is expected to cost CNY 1499.
Previously, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has been under a lot of speculations when the tech giant launched the Redmi 5 Plus in China. A moderator on its official forum even said that the Redmi Note 5 will not launch this year. He later revealed that the Redmi 5 Plus will be released in other markets under the Redmi Not 5 moniker. Looking at the current leaks and renders it looks like that it was just a false rumor. Redmi Note 5 is said to get unveiled this month at upcoming MWC 2018.
