For a time now, we’ve already been filled in on the upcoming Red Dragon Radeon RX Vega 56 courtesy of AMD partner PowerColor. This time around, fans will be surprised to know that the new graphics card has now seen an official launch and is set to become available in the market not long after.

As reported by AnandTech, the Red Dragon Radeon RX Vega 56 will come with PowerColor’s own take, employing its own custom PCB into the card. Unlike other variants, this particular version will not come with factory overclocking, however, users can choose to flip through modes, silent and overclocking, through the BIOS switch integrated within the card.

Aside from this, the new graphics card offering will come with both 8-pin and 6-pin auxiliary power connectors, which will enable potential buyers to make use of the Red Dragon Radeon RX Vega 56 at higher frequencies. Connectivity comes in two forms, a DisplayPort 1.4 and an HDMI 2.0b output, which comes in a pairs.

According to PCGamer, the Red Dragon Radeon RX Vega 56 sports 3, 584 Vega stream processors and comes packed with an 8GB HBM2 memory partnered with a 2,048-bit memory interface.  As for base clock measure, Red Dragon RX Vega 56 performs at 1,487MHz, which is a slight bump up when compared to other versions of the GPU which clocks at a max of 1,471MHz.

However, what’s truly notable about PowerColor’s edition is the three-fan cooling setup, which, in theory, could repel heat at a much more efficient rate than AMD’s standard single-fan model. This particular setup is quite similar to what the company did with their Red Devil edition with the only difference being in the aspect of width and bulk.

In terms of pricing, PowerColor has yet to issue official confirmations, however, they previously mentioned that the new product will place below the Red Devil roster, which means it will be valued at a lesser range when compared to other GPUs with the same power. According to the company, now that the Red Dragon Radeon RX Vega 56 has been launched, consumers will be able to get a hold of the product shortly after.
