Red Dead Online: Rumored Release Date And Game Features
Rockstar’s massive open world game, Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2), has been receiving a lot of positive feedback from the gaming community – all thanks to its epic story mode, breathtaking visuals, and many more. Now, fans and gamers alike are looking forward to the multiplayer mode, Red Dead Online, which will be entering public beta before the end of the month.
And ahead of its public beta release, we heard a few rumors and leaks here and there. Let’s review them.
Last week, RockstarINTEL posted a list of vehicles that are rumored to be featured on Red Dead Online. The article also notes that the entries on the list are not final.
- Horse Cart
- Small Coach
- Chuck Wagon
- Chuck Wagon (Gatling)
- Supply Wagon
- War Wagon
Another feature that’s rumored to come is Adversary Modes – yes, the same adversary modes that GTA Online fans are very familiar with. Aside from that, there will also be “private sessions” and “seamless PvE” (player versus environment). Another rumor is a Battle Royale mode.
Duels And Other Player-To-Player Interactions
On Read Dead Online, players will be able to duel other players. There’s also Deathmatch.
There’s “Inform Law”. Reports suggest it allows players to inform the law on others – basically being a snitch?
There’s also “Parley”. This probably allows players to hold a conference with the opposing side to discuss terms.
Lastly, there’s “Predator Ability” which RockstarINTEL isn’t sure of. But they suggest it has something to do with the animals in the wild.
Another one is buying properties. The list published by RockstarINTEL last week shows that there are 10 properties, all of which costs $1,000.
RockstarINTEL mentions that they have discovered Red Dead Online’s current list of mission types, but they didn’t provide a list and failed to hyperlink it. However, Express reports that it’s:
- Last Team Standing
- Parachuting (Yes, parachuting)
Exploring Mexico With Your Friends
According to reports, Red Dead Online will be ready to be explored alone or with friends, and will also feature constant updates and adjustments to grow and evolve this experience for all players. With this, rumors suggest that Mexico could be one of the new locations in the online multiplayer version.
When Is The Release Date?
Although Rockstar has confirmed that they plan to launch Red Dead Online in November 2018 as a public beta, they didn’t give any exact date. However, Dailystar suggests that it could be on November 8.
