Razer Phone 2 To Become Available In December 2018; Upcoming Device To Flaunt Snapdragon 845 and More
Razer Inc, a Singapore-based gaming hardware company has confirmed that its Razer Phone will have a successor. Dubbed as the Razer Phone 2, the said handset is expected to be available in December featuring Snapdragon 845 chipset and more.
Razer Phone 2 Expected Features and Specs
The Razer Phone is engineered by Snapdragon 835 and now, its successor, the Razor Phone 2 is believed to be powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset. This chipset from Qualcomm is the latest SoC that is intended to deliver an impeccable and lag-free smartphone experience to the users.
Moreover, it can be recalled that the Razer Phone flaunts 120Hz display making it stand out with some of its competitors. With that, there’s a possibility that this feature will be carried out in the Razer Phone 2. It is worth noting that the 120Hz refresh rate makes the display really smooth which is flaunted to gratify the game lovers.
As of this moment, the other specifications are still unknown. But then, it is safe to assume that the Razer Phone 2 will be made available flaunting top caliber features as its predecessor has been praised with its powerful specs.
Razer Phone 2 Launch Date and Pricing
Razor Inc. hasn’t provided the exact launch date of the Razer Phone 2. Nonetheless, My Smart Price stated in its article that during the annual ChinaJoy Digital Entertainment Expo & Conference, the company’s Vice President, Chen Xiaoping stated that a new smartphone will hit the market shelves of China by December 2018. This may also mean that the global launch will be happening by the end of 2018.
Additionally, Chen also stated that the Razer Phone 2 will be armed with the latest chipset. As for the price, Razer Phone was released carrying a price tag of $700 which is somewhat on the higher side but then it is hoped that Razer will be able to sustain a suitable price when it unveils its successor later this year.
