Queen Elizabeth Welcomes Meghan Markle This Christmas
There were many things discussed by the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II this Christmas during her traditional Christmas address. From the terrorist attacks in London and Manchester to the rise of technology in the present Era. Queen Elizabeth II had a lot to say to people of England. She mourned the attacks and loss of innocent lives in terrorist attacks. Queen equally rejoiced the new inclusion in the royal family.
In the latest entertainment news, Queen Elizabeth extended a hearty welcome to Ms. Meghan Markle into the royal family. Meghan Markle was present at the Christmas lunch hosted at the Kensington Palance in Sandringham. She also paid tribute to Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip for giving years of service to the royal crown and commemorated her royal wedding.
In her customary speech on television, the queen acknowledged the emerging role of technology by saying –
“Sixty years ago, a young woman spoke about the speed of technological change as she presented the first television broadcast of its kind. Six decades on, the presenter has ‘evolved’ somewhat, as has the technology she described. Back then, who could have imagined that people would one day be watching this on laptops and mobile phones–as some of you are today. But I’m also struck by something that hasn’t changed. That, whatever the technology, many of you will be watching this at home.”
Meghan Markle got engaged to Prince Harry a few weeks ago. She is an American TV star and a US citizen. As per latest entertainment news, marriage between Meghan and Prince Harry will take place early next year at Windsor Castle.
For the royal Christmas lunch hosted at Sandringham, Meghan Markle was seen dressed in formals. She wore a beige overcoat with a brown hat and brown hand-held bag. With her dressing sense for the occasion, Meghan Markle looked every bit a part of the royal family. We wish her all the best!
