Other Recent News Regarding DJI
Yesterday, we reported about DJI’s upcoming event this month. The Chinese tech drone maker sent out invites to press and media members for its “BECAUSE LIFE IS BIG” event which will be held in New York at the Good Morning America Studios in Midtown Manhattan on November 28th – 2:00 PM EST.
What Drone(s) Will DJI Be Launched On The Event?
Just a few months ago, DJI launched the Mavic 2 Pro and Zoom drones which were more or less expected – well, to be specific, before the drones were launched, one of the rumors was that DJI will launch a new Mavic drone. Aside from that, rumors also suggest a new Phantom drone – presumably the Phantom 5.
Speaking of the Phantom 5, it’s arguably the highly anticipated drone to pop up on the upcoming event due to the “clues” that’s been popping out here and there during the past few months. However, a report from Dronelife begs to differ and had this to say:
“Our best bet, having looked at the material DJI has sent out so far, is that the new launch is AR/VR related. We don’t think this is going to be the Phantom 5. The imagery is reminiscent of DJI Goggles. Who knows, maybe the company is about to release a pair of FPV goggles you can wear without looking like an absolute lemon.”
