Gather around drone fans, we got two interesting topics for all of you. Firstly, DJI’s quadcopter, the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0, is out of stock. Meanwhile, a report from Dronelife suggests that DJI’s upcoming event may be AR/VR related instead of the rumored Phantom 5 drone.

Out Of Stock!

According to a report, unfortunately, DJI’s most capable prosumer drone in terms of video quality the DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 is out of stock on DJI’s website. The report also notes that you can submit your email to be notified when the drone is back in stock.

Checking its product listing page on DJI’s official online store, the drone is offered in two package deals.

Firstly, we have the $1,499 package deal which comes with the DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 alone. The other price tag which was originally $2,048 but now sits at $1,898 is for the DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 & DJI Goggles Racing Edition.

The Drone itself features 30 minutes of flight time, 30m sensor range, 7km control range, 4 dB noise reduction, and 5-direction of obstacle sensing. Furthermore, it’s capable of recording 4K 60fps.

Other Recent News Regarding DJI

Yesterday, we reported about DJI’s upcoming event this month. The Chinese tech drone maker sent out invites to press and media members for its “BECAUSE LIFE IS BIG” event which will be held in New York at the Good Morning America Studios in Midtown Manhattan on November 28th – 2:00 PM EST.

What Drone(s) Will DJI Be Launched On The Event?

Just a few months ago, DJI launched the Mavic 2 Pro and Zoom drones which were more or less expected – well, to be specific, before the drones were launched, one of the rumors was that DJI will launch a new Mavic drone. Aside from that, rumors also suggest a new Phantom drone – presumably the Phantom 5.

Speaking of the Phantom 5, it’s arguably the highly anticipated drone to pop up on the upcoming event due to the “clues” that’s been popping out here and there during the past few months. However, a report from Dronelife begs to differ and had this to say:

Our best bet, having looked at the material DJI has sent out so far, is that the new launch is AR/VR related. We don’t think this is going to be the Phantom 5. The imagery is reminiscent of DJI Goggles. Who knows, maybe the company is about to release a pair of FPV goggles you can wear without looking like an absolute lemon.
