Oppo Find X vs OnePlus 6 - Latest Specifications, Pricing, and Release Date Compared
The highly anticipated Oppo Find X is finally out in the market and is the first genuine flagship line from Chinese tech company Oppo putting them back on the map in 2014. The company has confirmed its powerful specifications and images. Another Chinese company OnePlus has released its rival flagship smartphone OnePlus 6.
According to XDA-Developers, the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 system-on-chip powers Oppo Find X, making it a powerhouse in running anything on it. Even if it is not a gaming phone, it can perform well from daily tasks to some light gaming on the side. In the meantime, the OnePlus 6 128GB is powered by the latest Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.
In the photography department, the Oppo Find X is very spacious since it has no notch. A sliding mechanism is added at the top to make way for the front and rear cameras. A centimeter is making it taller because it extends both cameras outwards. The design looks a whole lot nicer than having a display notch.
The rear camera consists of a dual camera setup—a 20-megapixel f/2.0 shooter plus a 16-megapixel f/2.2 shooter. This has similar megapixels to the OnePlus 6, except the f/1.7 apertures and a 20-megapixel selfie camera. Meanwhile, the front camera for selfies offers 25 megapixels and f/2.0 aperture. The AI features like 3D face scanning and beautifying modes are also available in the camera. These may look spectacular, but we will have to wait and see the software it has.
In terms of pricing, the Oppo Find X will cost £999 new, which is about $1150 at current rates and is quite high for such a device. The shipping will begin this coming August. The company is aiming to bring it to France. On the other hand, the OnePlus 6 128GB model costs between £431 and £438.
