73Buzz Open Mic At KYRO: An Evening With Hidden Talent Of Indore

With a sole aim to provide platform to emerging hidden talent of Indore, 73Buzz has organized open mic event at KYRO, Indore on February 25. Total 20 performers presented their creativity during the event.

The event was started with a poem and then later carried forward through several young artists of the city. The open mic was not only limited to poems, even performers also presented their creativity in the form of the Ghazal, Shayari, spoken word, singing, and standup comedy.

Rajat Tejawat, Mrigank, Shashank, Mansi and Vishu Dagi were among those who made the evening melodious through their soulful singing performances. Rajat Tejawat, who is the owner of JR School of Music, started his performance by the famous Bollywood songs. Mrigank performed old melodies on acoustic guitar and Vishu got the huge round of applause for his awesome mixture of Indian classical with Bollywood songs.

Sanskar Yadav, who is in class 12th, has made everyone ROFL through his awesome standup act. Dinesh Mehar, Rajkumar Menon, and Shubhank Tiwari also made everyone stress free by making the audience laugh out loud.

The open mic was having no bar for the age or language, so performers presented their creativity in both Hindi and English. Anshika Chourishi presented an awesome poem titled “Dear Brother,” which is a rebel based on the #MeToo theme. Shreya Sharma revealed her emotions with the Hindi-Urdu poem titled “Ashq.” Harsha Dubey, Deepak DK Malviya, Kavita, Raviraj Taank, Yashashree Sonwane, Pranjal Bajaj and Nitesh Kushwah also received praises from the audience for performing their respective niche.

Amitesh Sodhiya made a combination of stand-up act and his self-written Shayaris, which received big applauses with praises. Nihal Modi, whose creation has been recently published in the book “Lamho se lafzo tak,” has presented his thoughts through Ghazal titled “Zindagi mein kuchh es kadar tarraki ho gyi hai.

Interestingly, the open mic was organized only through Facebook. Without any outdoor or paid promotions, a total of 80 people attended the event. Team 73Buzz also announced to organize more open mic events in coming months.
