OnePlus 7: Latest Concept Reveals Completely Bezel-Less Display and More Killer Feature
China-based tech company One Plus seems to release three flagship devices next year. They had confirmed that a 5G-enabled smartphone is coming and will be a separate phone entirely. Unfortunately, this said device will not be the highly-anticipated OnePlus 7. This means that it won’t support 5G, though it’s too early to tell.
According to Android Headlines, a concept video about the device got surfaced and showed the well-designed phone. A YouTube channel called “DBS Designing” posted this design and had been known to release a number of concept designs of various phones in the past. The video lasted almost two minutes.
In the concept video, OnePlus 7 is made out of the metal glass with a flat back unlike its predecessors OnePlus 6 and 6T. The company’s logo is red-colored below the bottom camera, same as the volume rocker buttons at the left side of the phone. The power or lock key is black-colored, same as the alert slider placed above the power key like the predecessors.
In the photography department, the phone sports three vertically-aligned cameras on the back. Two of these cameras are a part of one unit on the back while the third one is separated below them. The device comes with a completely bezel-less display, making it interesting. The designer envisioned it as a sliding camera smartphone like the current Xiaomi Mi MIX 3. So, once you slide the display down, you will see the two front-facing cameras, some sensors next to them, and the company’s logo.
There is no definite information about its release date, but the device could have several color variants including all-black, white, and red. It is not scheduled to launch until mid-2019. It might not even be the next smartphone from the company. However, there are signs that it could be an offshoot of the main line.
