OnePlus 6T: Potential iPhone Xs, Google Pixel 3 Competitor To Come Out Next Month? Specs Confirmed?
Just like the Google Pixel 3, it seems OnePlus 6T will be coming next month as well. The release schedule has been timed well enough so that it would be not launched too close to the retail date of the iPhone Xs, which, as usual, is already expected to be the year’s top smartphone model.
One Plus 6T confirmed specs
Unlike the iPhone Xs and the Google Pixel 3, it looks like OnePlus is not going to employ a secretive strategy when it comes to the specs of its upcoming phone. In fact, it has already verified some of the rumored specs of the new OnePlus device.
One of the most exciting parts of the new device is the fingerprint sensor. Instead of being placed in the back, it can be found inside the display, according to Gadgets Now. This will make unlocking the device much easier for users.
OnePlus has also confirmed that the new smartphone will not have a headphone jack. Taking its cue from the iPhone Xs, the company has not issued a statement yet as to how it will replace the jack on the OnePlus 6T.
However, it looks like the OnePlus 6T will not have wireless charging. This is said to be a result of a cost-cutting measure in the production phase, according to Tech Story. This is sad as Google may be ramping its wireless charging capability on the Google Pixel 3.
It looks we will be seeing the OnePlus smartphone in person soon as the release nears. Reports say that it will be released on Wednesday, October 17.
