Smartphones Releasing This October In India: OnePlus 6T, Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, iPhone XR And Many More

Although September is finally over, this doesn’t mean there’s nothing left to look forward to anymore for this year. This month alone, we have a number of new smartphones that are slated to arrive in India.

Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL

The Pixel 3 is reported to cost around $650 or Rs. 48,000. It’s rumored to feature a 5.5-inch display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and aspect ratio of 18:9.

On the other hand, the Pixel 3 XL will cost around $750 or Rs. 55,300. It will sport a massive 6.7-inch display with 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

Both phones will have a glass back, run on Android 9 Pie and armed with an SD 845 chip.

OnePlus 6T

It was confirmed by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau that the OnePlus 6T will be more expensive compared to the OnePlus 6 which costs $529 (£469) for its 6GB/64GB variant and $579 (£519) for its 8GB/128GB. Although he didn’t reveal the exact price, rumors suggest that it will cost £20 more.

Regarding its specs, it is said to feature a fingerprint reader under its display that will deliver a futuristic new method of unlocking. In addition to this, it will sport a 6.4-inch display with full HD+ resolution, a waterdrop notch design, SD 845 chip, 6GB/8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of memory storage, and powered by a 3700 mAh battery.

Lastly, for its camera specs, previous reports suggested it will feature a triple rear camera setup. Meanwhile, recent reports suggest it will feature a dual vertical camera setup.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro

Last month, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro in Thailand for 6,990 baht or around Rs. 15,800. Reports are expecting Xiaomi to launch this smartphone in India this month.

It will feature a 6.26-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display, SD 636 chip, 4000 mAh battery, 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. For its camera, it features a (12MP + 5MP) rear camera and (20MP + 2MP) front camera.

iPhone XR

Another one that’s expected to come to India is the iPhone XR. It costs $749 or around Rs. 55,300 for its 64GB model.

It features a 6.1-inch display with a screen resolution of 828 x 1792 pixels. It runs on iOS 12 and is packed with an A12 Bionic processor.

For its memory, it features 3GB of RAM and 64/128/256 GB. In regards to its camera specs, it sports a 12MP rear camera and a 7MP front camera.

Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 7.1 Plus

These two phones are expected to launch on October 11.

The Nokia 7.1 Plus will feature a 6.1-inch display and packed with an SD 710 chip. It will come in two variants; 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. Both variants will sport a dual rear camera setup (12MP + 13MP) and 20MP selfie camera.

On the other hand, the Nokia 7.1is rumored to cost around 350 euros or Rs. 29,700. It will come with a 5.84-inch display, SD 636 chip, and (12MP + 5MP) rear camera. It will also come in two variants; 4GB/64GB and or 3GB/32GB.

Other Upcoming Phones

Aside from the smartphones mentioned, there are others as well. One is from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2018) at the “A Galaxy Event” for October 11, 2018. Another is from Xiaomi, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. And lastly, there’s the Honor 8X.
