OnePlus 6 To Come With iPhone X-Like Notch Display, AnTuTu Benchmark Leaked
OnePlus’ next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 6, would have a notched display like Apple’s iPhone X and will boast of high-end features, according to recently leaked images.
Images leaked online show a smartphone purported to be the OnePlus 6 with an all-screen design and a cutout at the top of the display. The aspect ratio of the upcoming device is expected to be 19:9. The photos also show that the upcoming OnePlus flagship device will feature an all-glass construction instead of aluminum like its predecessors.
OnePlus 6 will come with a rear fingerprint scanner as well as a vertical dual camera setup. Unlike the OnePlus 5 and 5T, the dual camera setup on the OnePlus 6 is not at the top-right corner on the back of the device, but in the middle of the fingerprint scanner.
Meanwhile, Android Central has revealed that the AnTuTu benchmark score of the OnePlus 6 is 276510. This benchmark, which was reportedly leaked by a source close to OnePlus, makes the OnePlus 6 the Android smartphone with the highest score to date – beating the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, which scored 273741. Just like the Mi Mix 2S, the OnePlus 6 will run on Qualcomm’s new processor, the Snapdragon 845 chipset. The OnePlus 5 and 5T are considered two of the fastest Android smartphones currently, but if this benchmark score is anything to go by, the OnePlus 6 will top the performance of its predecessors. There are rumors that the device will run on the Android Oreo v 8.1 and will come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
OnePlus is yet to announce the official release date of the OnePlus 6. The device was expected to hit the market in June in line OnePlus CEO Pete Lau’s revelation that it will be launched in the second quarter of this year. However, given the recent leaks, there is a possibility that the company is planning to release it at an earlier date.
