New Leaked Photos of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Reveals Dual Rear Camera Setup and More
Expected to come this year is the Mi Mix 3 from Xiaomi. This time around, alleged photos of the said device have been spotted online, revealing new interesting details.
The Alleged Photos
The photos were spotted on China’s social networking site, Weibo. It was revealed that the upcoming Mi Mix 3 will feature a fresh design scheme different from its predecessors and will also carry forward ceramic as the build material.
But perhaps the two things that stand out the most is the re-positioning of the dual-camera on its rear and the absence of the fingerprint scanner. Because of this, reports are suggesting that it could feature an in-display fingerprint scanner instead.
It also revealed that it will feature an almost edge-to-edge display. Meanwhile, for its bottom design, it will sport a speaker grille and a USB Type-C port.
When Will It Be Launched?
Earlier this month, an alleged teaser was spotted online. According to a report, the official launch date of the Mi Mix 3 could be on September 15.
So is it true? Well, if we’re going to base it on the release date of the 2017 model, then it could be because it was announced and released in September.
How Much Will It Cost?
Regarding its price, there are two rumored price tags. The 6GB RAM and 64GB storage will cost 3,399 Yuan ($496), while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage 5,299 Yuan ($774).
However, just recently, a leaked poster was spotted online and posted on Slash Leaks revealing the specs, feature and price tag. It suggests that the said smartphone will cost Rs. 37,999 which translates to around $545. Also, although the poster wasn’t labeled as “Busted” once revealed it was fake, it currently has an 11 percent Trust Score so it’s best to take it with a pinch of salt.
Specs and Features
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is expected to feature a near bezel-less AMOLED display with 2K resolution, packed with a Snapdragon 845 chip, and have 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. In addition to this, it is also to sport a 20MP selfie camera and come with Qi wireless charging support.
