New Concept Video Design Features The Pixel 4 And Pixel 4 XL
One of the highly anticipated smartphones that are coming this year is the Google Pixel 4. This time around, a couple of days ago, a concept video for the said smartphone was uploaded, giving us a glimpse of what it could look like once released.
The video was uploaded by YouTube channel Concept Creator which has around 100k subscribers. It features two concepts designs, Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, and was designed by Jermaine Smit.
Please note that at 0:07, it mentions a number of specs and features. We won’t be mentioning all of them, just most of them.
The Display And Camera
The Pixel 4 features a 5.5-inch screen with 1080p while the Pixel 4 XL features 6.3-inches with 1440p. Both feature Samsung AMOLED display and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
There was also a mention of 2-tone colors, reduced notch, and reduced blue light
Both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will feature improved cameras, camera shutter, wide-angle selfie, wide-angle camera, 4K 60 fps video, and super slow-motion.
The video also mentions “dual camera”. This here is the tricky part. The thing is, if we look at the rest of the video, it doesn’t specifically showcase the front design of the Pixel 4. Although there was a part where it showed its front design (1:08), the screen was turned off so it’s hard to see if it features a dual selfie camera and a notch.
But if we, 73Buzz, are going to describe it, it looks like the Pixel 3 which has an (8MP+8MP) selfie camera. However, compared to the Pixel 3, the black strip on top seems thinner on the Pixel 4, and the camera lens and what seems to be an LED flash is positioned at the top right. Well, the video did mention “reduced notch” so it applies to this?
What is obvious though is the Pixel 4 XL. It features an all-screen design, a dual-camera setup, and a notch design. Comparing it to the Pixel 3 XL, although both are similar, the Pixel 4 XL doesn’t have a thin black strip at the bottom of its screen and the notch seems thinner.
For the rear cameras, the Pixel 4features a single rear camera and LED flash positioned at the top left. Meanwhile, the Pixel 4 XL features a dual camera setup and LED flash, it was also positioned at the top left.
Both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will be armed with a Snapdragon 855 chip. It will also come with enhanced software.
The video also mentioned, “Optimized”. Although we are not 100 percent sure, we believe it’s related to the software. If any of you disagree, please do tell us on what category it should be placed at.
Memory-wise, the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will feature 8GB RAM and microSD. In addition to that, they will also feature unlimited storage at Google photos.
The video mentions a 3950 mAh battery. The way we see it, we don’t think both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will feature 3950 mAh, instead only one of them. The thing is the Pixel 3 housed a 2915 mAh battery while the Pixel 3 XL was a 3430 mAh battery so it seems unlikely that both will feature the same battery capacity.
The video also mentioned other things such as wireless charging, 2-day battery life, and Quick Charge 25W.
Both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL features a headphone port, dual speakers, noise reducing mic, and UFC 3.0. Moreover, it will also have Wi-Fi 6, Night Sight and be 5G ready.
