Many of you know that Netflix had a deal with Disney, which allowed it to stream its original content on its platform. But now the deal is about to expire very soon. However, before the deal comes to an end, the streaming media giant is trying its best to get as much content as possible from the prolific bouquet of Disney. The latest we hear that Netflix is gearing up to stream the Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, and Chris Pratt starrer Avengers: Infinity War on its platform.

Netflix has set Christmas 2018 to premiere Avengers: Infinity War on its platform. So if you have not seen the movie yet, or want to watch it again, don’t forget to visit Netflix on 25th December 2018. Netflix announced the premiere date for the massive blockbuster in a tweet on Monday. “Oh, snap. Avengers: Infinity War is coming to @Netflix on December 25.”

Though Netflix’s deal with Disney is valid till 2020, the streamer will have no rights to any titles which come out in 2019. For the uninitiated, Netflix inked the output deal for U.S. pay-TV-window rights to Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm and Pixar films in the year 2013. Reportedly, Disney pulled the plug on its deal with Netflix last year as the production behemoth is planning to roll out its own streaming service, tentatively called Disney+. If all goes well, the streaming service will kick-off its services in late 2019.

Avengers: Infinity Warwhich hit the silver screen in April 2018, went on to pocket a little over $2 billion, including $679 million in the domestic market. With such fantastic earnings, the movie has become the fourth-biggest film release ever, behind Avatar (2009), Titanic (1997) and Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015).
