Motorola Razr V4 Concept Video Reveals Folding Design, Snapdragon 855 SoC and Dual Camera
Lenovo, which owns Motorola, is reportedly thinking of a possible return to the Razr-era mobile phone market. The tech giant is said to be working on the Motorola RAZR V4, which will feature the foldable screen design.
HMD Global has attracted attention while reviving the Nokia 3310 and Nokia 8110 phones. As the media questioned whether Lenovo would do the same with Motorola Razr, at that time CEO Yang Yuanqing revealed that “With The new technology, especially the folding capabilities of the screen, I think the phone will soon change the design and a product like this (Razr alluded to) will be developed and available soon. ”
Designers at Techconfigurations has created the beautiful concept video of Razr V4 featuring a dual-screen display as an official from Lenovo mentioned earlier. The upcoming Motorola Razr V4 will be having folding style. It will boast flexible polymer joint with high durability that will make it more flexible.
When closed, the Motorola Razr V4 looks like a compact square phone with two screens on the front, but when opened, it becomes a smartphone with 7-inch screen, which is only 3.5 mm thin. The device can be seen boasting the 12 MP secondary wide-angle camera and 16 + 12 MP Dual primary camera with the 4K and 60FPS recording capabilities.
Motorola Razr V4, according to the concept video, will boast 7-inch AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will come rocking beautifully polished glass body. Under the hood, Razr V4 will come featuring Qualcomm’s yet to launch Snapdragon 855 processor paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage. In upcoming Moto Razr V4, you can access the Emojis from the bottom bar. The device will come in three colors mainly, Black, Blue, and Red.
This story is based on concept video and the statement by Lenovo CEO, so it is advised to take this with a grain of salt. However, considering the history of phones, there are few only some devices that developed as a brand icon and termed as a legend of its time. The Motorola RAZR series was one among such phone, with its unique fashionable clamshell design Razr became identified as a “fashion” product and an iconic phone in the late 2000s. With that being said, it is plausible that Lenovo might be working on Moto Razr V4.
