Upcoming Xiaomi Phones: Mi A3, Mi Play, Redmi 7 Series, Xiaomi Poco F2 And Redmi Pro 2
Xiaomi is reportedly launching a number of new smartphones for 2019. The list includes Xiaomi Mi Play, the Redmi 7 series, Xiaomi Poco F2, and Redmi Pro 2.
The Xiaomi Mi A3 (aka Mi 7X)
The Xiaomi Mi A3 is expected to be launched in Q3 of 2019. It will first be released in China under the name Mi 7X. It will feature a 6.2-inch display, be packed with an SD 670 chip, 12MP+12MP dual camera, 20 MP front camera, and 6GB/8GB of RAM with a 64GB/128GB of internal memory. As for its price tag, it could be priced at around $250 to $270.
The Xiaomi Mi Play
The Xiaomi Mi Play launched in China not long ago. It features a price tag of CNY 1,099 which roughly translates to $160 for its 4GB/64GB variant. As for its global release, it has yet to be revealed. However, 91mobiles reports that it could be launched in India on February 7, 2019.
It comes with a 5.84-inch display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. Moreover, it features an eight-core 12nm MediaTek P35 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, 12-megapixel, and 2-megapixel rear cameras, 3,000 mAh battery, micro USB port, and a rear fingerprint sensor.
The Redmi 7 Series
The Redmi 7 series consists of the smartphones Redmi 7A, Redmi 7, and Redmi 7 Pro. According to a report, these said smartphones are expected to be released in mid-2019 around June or July. The phones will first be released in China and then will be followed by a global release.
Regarding the price tags, the Redmi 7 Pro is rumored to cost around 600 to 700 AED which translates to around $160 to $190. The Redmi 7 is said to cost around 120 Euro or $137. As for the Redmi 7A, unfortunately, its price tag is unknown.
The Xiaomi Poco F2
The Xiaomi Poco F2 is rumored to be released on February 20, 2019, with a price tag of Rs. 26,990 ($386). It will come with a 6.3-inch display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, Snapdragon 845 chip, triple rear camera design (16MP+8MP+5MP), 16MP front camera, 4,100 mAh battery, 6GB RAM, 64GB internal memory, and up to 256GB of expandable memory storage.
The Redmi Pro 2
The Redmi Pro 2 is reportedly set to launch in 2019. It said to feature a display similar to the Honor View 20, Huawei Nova 4 and Samsung’s Galaxy A8s and will be packed with a Snapdragon 675 chip.
Furthermore, it is rumored to feature an in-display selfie camera like the Honor View 20 and Huawei Nova 4. Moreover, the device is said to sport a 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor in one of the three rear cameras lens. As for its price tag, it is expected to cost around CNY 2,000 or $290.
