Meizu X8 Photo Leak, Release Date, Price and More
A leaked photo has been spotted. This time around, it involves the Meizu X8. In addition to that, details regarding its release date, price, specs, and features have been revealed.
As we can see from the photo, its 4 borders are nearly identical in terms of width and are exceptionally narrow. Aside from that, it also seems that it doesn’t have a physical home button at the bottom. Instead, it features three digital buttons.
When Will It Be Released?
According to reports, so far, all reports point towards July – this involves the Vietnamese and South Korean market. In fact, one report even suggested that it could be released on July 31, 2018.
However, there are also two new upcoming Meizu phones – 16 and 16 Plus which are expected to come this August. Because of this, we can also speculate that the X8 could be launched alongside these two. However, without any official announcement being made regarding the exact dates, it’s best to take it with a pinch of salt.
How Much Will It Cost?
A few weeks ago, Meizu’s CEO, Jack Wong (or Huang Zhang in Chinese), shared many details about the Meizu X8. Although he didn’t reveal the exact price, he hinted that it will be priced under 2,000 Yuan which translates to $295.
Specs & Features
The X8 will be an upper mid-range phone. And according to the Wong himself, it will be better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE.
The device will be packed with Snapdragon 710 chip and feature a 6.0-inch Full HD+ display. It won’t be featuring an in-display fingerprint.
On other reports, the device is said to come with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. It will sport a 12 MP + 20 MP dual-camera setup and a 20 MP front camera. It will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo with FlymeUI on top and will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.
