2018 MacBook Pro 13 and 15 To Feature These Powerful Processors
Apple’s upcoming 2018 MacBook Pro 13-inch and MacBook Pro 15-inch are expected to be packed with powerful processors. For the former, it is reported to feature last year’s Kaby Lake R processors or i7-8559U. On the other hand, for the latter, it could feature i9-8950HK or i7-8809G.
2018 MacBook Pro 13-inch
According to reports, the rumored upcoming the 2018 MacBook Pro 13 is set to be packed with a Kaby Lake R processor which was launch Q3 2017. This is an 8th generation Intel processor that is featured in popular laptops such as Dell XPS 13 and HP Spectre 13.
It has four variations:
All of which feature four cores. However, differs from max turbo frequency, processor-based frequency, and cache.
The first variation features 4.20 GHz, 1.90 GHz, and 8 MB SmartCache. The second one features 4.00 GHz, 1.80 GHz, and 8 MB SmartCache.
Third one features 3.60 GHz, 1.70 GHz, and 6 MB SmartCache. The last variation features 3.40 GHz, 1.60 GHz, and 6 MB SmartCache.
In addition to this, the said device is also speculated to pack Coffee Lake Core i7-8559U with a processor-based frequency of 2.70 GHz. This Intel processor was launch backed in Q2 2018.
2018 MacBook Pro 15-inch
For the 15-inch MacBook Pro 2018, it will be a very powerful device as it is reported to be packed with an i9-8950HK processor. This Intel processor was launched back in Q2 2018 and features 6 cores, 4.80 GHz for its max turbo frequency, 2.90 GHz for its processor-based frequency, and 12 MB SmartCache.
However, this device is also speculated to feature i7-8809G which was launched back in Q1 2018. This processor features 4 cores, 4.20 GHz max turbo frequency, 3.10 GHz processor based frequency and 8 MB cache.
