LG Q9: Here’s What To Expect Before Its Release
South Korean-based tech company LG launched the LG Q8 (2018) three months ago. This device was a successor of last year’s LG Q8. Now, the company is speculated to launch one more Q-series Android smartphone dubbed LG Q9 this year. This smartphone was first heard in September when a sheet of its alleged specifications got leaked.
According to MySmartPrice, an official press render of the upcoming smartphone surfaces online alongside a few key specifications. It confirms that the device will feature a notched display with a tall 19:9 aspect ratio. It appears almost similar to the current LG G7 Fit, which was released in August. It was previously reported to come with an 18:9 aspect ratio display without a notch at the top.
In terms of specifications, the LG Q9 will have a 6.1-inch display with a speculated full high-definition resolution display. There will be a 4GB of RAM with two storage versions to choose from like 32GB and 64GB. All the usual connectivity standards from this year’s mid-range smartphone will be released on this handset.
In the press render, the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system will run this upcoming device out of the box. Then, the company’s custom user-interface layer will also be on top. This is the same as other LG smartphones the company introduced. Since the rear panel is not visible, a fingerprint scanner might be mounted in the rear. NFC will also be supported.
The upcoming device was previously reported to pack a 3550mAh capacity battery with the 14nm processor. This is enough to provide a decent battery life. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor will power it. So far, the company did not announce yet the official launch date of this device, but there will soon be with its pricing and availability once it is unveiled.
