Evan Blass has tweeted specifically about LG Judy’s possible model number, which is LG G710. However, the Korean variant of the LG G6 was ‘G600’, so it’s highly probable that upcoming flagship could be either related to the G6 or the successor of the LG G6. It should be noted that Blass has clearly mentioned before that “G7” will not be Judy’s official name.
As mentioned earlier, LG has strong plans to reveal the Judy smartphone later in June. However, its rumored specs are a 6.1-inch display, which is just slightly larger than the V30’s display.
According to the report, LG Judy will feature an MLCD+ panel, which is something completely new for the LG. The MLCD+ panel comes sporting an RGBW matrix that contains white sub-pixels. The display of the Judy is also expected to capable 800 nits of brightness, while also using less energy than standard IPS LCD displays.
Moreover, the LG Judy is strongly believed to rock a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU paired with 4GB of RAM. There will also be 64GB of internal storage, which might be expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. Judy will also see LG’s dual camera setup with glass optical elements and f/1.6 aperture lenses. The flagship smartphone will be water/dust/impact resistance and boast stereo speakers described as “boom box” speakers. Judy is also said to have features like wireless charging, and camera AI.
For the release date, Blass clearly mention that LG has plans to unveil the Judy in June. This means that the flagship will likely be available globally this summer.
