LG G8: Release Date, Price, Rumors, Expectations, Concept Video
LG is one of the most popular smartphone brands in the market which is why it comes to no surprise that despite the recent release of the LG G7 ThinQ, people are already interested about the LG G8 ThinQ. With that being said, here are the things that you should know about the upcoming device:
Release Date & Price
The device is expected to come next year. It could be either:
- February — LG G6 was announced on this month
- May — LG G7 ThinQ was announced on this month
As for its price tag, there isn’t much information about this yet. But what we can expect is that LG G8 ThinQ is not going to be cheap.
Well, just take the LG G7 ThinQ for example. It was initially priced at $749. With this, its price range could be $800.
Despite the assumption that the LG G8 ThinQ is set to be released next year, there are already some rumors about it. One rumor comes from Ice Universe saying that the device will feature 4K LCD displays. But given that the Ice didn’t cite any source or details, it’s hard to say whether this is true or not.
Another rumor claims that the device will feature “sound emitting display”. According to the report, LG smartphones will support this feature from early 2019 onwards.
In regards to its design, it’s expected that the LG G8 ThinQ won’t differ that much from the LG G7 ThinQ. Yeah, there will be some improvements here and there, but it won’t be a big leap in terms of aesthetics.
As for its processor, it’s expected to be packed with a Snapdragon 855 processor. Lastly, for its internal memory, 128 GB storage and 6 GB of RAM is expected.

Given the popularity of LG phones, it comes to no surprise that there are concept designs being made by fans. Apparently, there’s a 3-minute long concept design video (below) featuring the LG G8 ThinQ where it sports:
