A popular tabloid quotes one of Sharma’s close friends as saying, “It will be a four-day long, big, fat Punjabi wedding for which his friends from the film industry will be flying down to Punjab. He will be hosting a party in Mumbai later.”
Kapil had made his relationship with Ginni public in March last year. Confessing his love for her, he had written on social media, “Will not say she is my better half. She completes me. Love you, Ginni, please welcome her. I love her so much.”
Kapil Sharma, who used to be one of the biggest stars on television once, has gone through a lot in his personal and professional life in the last one and a half year. Once The Kapil Sharma Show used to top TRP charts, but an ugly mid-air fight with co-star Sunil Grover led to the untimely end of the show.
After that, Kapil was seen in his home production film Firangi (2017) which sank at the box-office without a trace. The failure of the film took a toll of his health, leading to several health issues. He tried to make his comeback to television with Sony Entertainment Television’s show Family Time With Kapil Sharma. But as ill luck would have it, the show failed to garner enough TPRs and was dropped immediately after hitting the airwaves.
