Last Chance to FutureRestore iOS 11.1.2 For Jailbreak as iOS 11.3 Public Release is Around the Corner
As we know that the four betas of iOS 11.3 have already been released to developers and testers, and in mid-March Apple is also rumored for the spring media event. Considering both the things it is highly probable that final version of iOS 11.3 might get released anytime soon from now.
Apple is rumored to push out the final version of iOS 11.3 to the public just after its spring media event this month. For jailbreak users, this can be important information given that iOS 11.3 SEP (Secure Enclave Processor) isn’t compatible with iOS 11.1.2, with iOS 11.2.6 being the last public iOS 11 version whose SEP is well-matched with iOS 11.1.2.
This basically means that once iOS 11.3 final firmware goes public, and once iOS 11.2.6 is no longer signed, those with SHSH2 blobs saved and jailbroken on iOS 11.1.2 can no longer bring back their device using FutureRestore in order to get the stock iOS 11.1.2 firmware.
That is why in case anyone who has the jailbroken device running on iOS 11.1.2 firmware and is facing issues and want to restart everything from the start then they can use FutureRestore to get back to the stock version on iOS 11.1.2 and then re-jailbreak the device. Getting back to stock version is also helpful in case anyone wants to sell their iPhone on an OS that is jailbreak-friendly as this generally helps them getting good value for the device than a device which is on non-jailbreak-friendly OS.
Therefore, if you are the owner of the jailbroken device which is running on the iOS 11.1.2 or lower firmware with SHSH2 blobs saved for 11.1.2 and want to get to stock iOS 11.1.2 then this is very last chance to do so via FutureRestore. This is because of the aforesaid reasons and it is highly possible that soon the iOS 11.1.2 firmware will no longer being signed.
Regarding iOS 11.2.x jailbreak tool, we already know that Zimperium has made their iOS 11.2.2 vulnerabilities public, and Abraham Masri has also recently published 0day for iOS 11.3, but until anyone is able to exploit that it can be converted into a public jailbreak, iOS 11.1.2 is going to be the only firmware which has a public jailbreak tool available for it.
