iPhone SE2 Could Join iPhone X Plus, iPhone 9, and 'Budget' iPhone X This September
Unfortunately, the long-anticipated iPhone SE2 did not make it at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2018 event hosted by the tech company Apple. It is supposed to be the successor of the hugely popular iPhone SE, which was introduced 2 years ago. However, avid fans still have plenty to get excited about since the company clearly focused more on software.
According to Express, the company released two versions of the predecessor like 32GB and 128GB, offering double the amount of its previous storage. Tech tipsters predicted the release date of the successor will be next year retaining the same aluminum edges and small-sized package. It will also flaunt a notched display like the current iPhone X style and glass backing with wireless charging support.
However, the iPhone SE 2 seems to be on its way because the company’s sales on iPhones this year need a boost. If released, it can aid in balancing out the revenue and market share. It will offer a lower pricing in the company’s world of smartphones. The upgraded phone will have a retro design and lack the user interface elements.
In addition to that, the popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently tipped that a more aggressive pricing model should be adopted for their upcoming iPhones 2018, which are expected to be announced this annual September event. These devices are a massive 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus, the upgraded 5.8-inch iPhone X, and an entry-level 6.1-inch LCD iPhone 9.
Kuo also made speculations that the iPhone 9 will cost somewhere between $600 and $700, which is less than the current iPhone 8, while the upgraded iPhone X will be $800 to $900 with upgraded internals, making it cheaper and budget-friendly than its predecessor. Then, the iPhone X Plus will be priced between $900 and $1,000.
As it was not unveiled at WWDC, then the long-awaited iPhone SE 2 is said to come sooner than expected. So, what do you think of the latest update about the iPhone SE2? Let us know your thoughts by writing in the comment section below.
