iPad Mini 5: Everything We Know and What We Want To See If Ever It Arrives

There are a lot of questions running down our minds that make us wonder about the iPad mini. Will it still be continued or not? If so, will the smaller iPad Mini 5 be saleable to the consumers now that many mobile phones are getting bigger than the usual? All of these queries cannot be answered right now unless you know what is in store for the upcoming tablet.

According to Macworld, the product line has never been updated ever since the iPad mini 4 was launched and got a phenomenal success. A recent report from Bloomberg suggested no new iPad mini for this year. However, it is not clear whether the person is pertaining to the upgraded version to launch alongside the 2018 iPhones this coming month.

Other reports suggest that the iPad mini series will no longer have further plans, but the tech giant Apple will still continue to sell the tablet. The popular Apple tech analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities had already hinted in his note to investors back in March that the device will sadly be replaced by large-screen smartphones now available in the market.

When it comes to pricing, this new tablet is expected to be priced lower than the current 9.7-inch iPad that was unveiled last 27 March with an affordable price of £319 to attract schools. The 128GB version costs £10 less than the 128GB iPad. It may be unlikely for the company to do, but it would be nice to cut the upcoming tablet’s price into under £300.

In terms of specifications, the iPad Mini 5 might be even thinner than its predecessor—likely at just 5millimeters—with a different chassis, the durable 700-series aluminum like the iPhone 6s and 7. Then, a possible flexible or even a foldable display might be a bit skeptical but highly likely if the company will be successful in putting the technology for their iPhones.

So, how about you? What do you want to see for the iPad Mini 5 if ever it arrives? You will never know the company might pursue on it. Let us know by writing in the comment section below.
