iOS 12 Jailbreak With Siri/Shortcuts And Unc0ver Coming, Tweaks Running With Cydia Substrate On iOS 12
Gather around, jailbreak fans, we’ve got some good news for you. Although we already have the rootless jailbreak tool, RootlessJB, from Jake James (@jakeshacks), a public full-root iOS 12 jailbreak is coming soon from Unc0ver jailbreak team. In addition to that, there are new updates regarding Cydia.

What Happened Last Week
Last week, Sam Bingner (@sbinger), co-founder of unc0ver, shared via Twitter a 25-second teaser video of Cydia up and running on iOS 12.
Well minimal stuff works – still need to do a lot but I have a shell, Cydia works and substrate mostly works. Don’t hold your breath but it’s progressing. pic.twitter.com/bBbZO2Seoy

Although it was well-received by the jailbreak community, there was one question plaguing the mind of the jailbreaking community: When will it be released?
Aside from that, Pwn20wnd (@Pwn20wnd) announced that “Cydia is looking good on iOS 12“. However, he also confirmed via Reddit that it will remain in private distribution within the team until CoreTreust workarounds are in place and the sandbox patches are fixed.
New Updates! New Updates! New Updates!
This time around, we have updates from both.
For the jailbreak tool from unc0ver, a new video was spotted on a Reddit post. The video is titled, “[Upcoming] jailbreaking iOS 12 with siri/shortcuts and unc0ver!”
According to the person who posted the video, it was only a private test. As for its release date, he doesn’t know and that the “release timing is up to pwn and sbingner”.
So what new details do Pwn20wnd have for Cydia? Well, last weekend, he made an announcement via Twitter, saying that he has successfully got tweaks running with Cydia Substrate on iOS 12.

Of course, it was well-received by the jailbreak community, accumulating 5,560 likes and 1,020 retweets. But what’s really good news is that he’s tempted to release a new public beta.
“Public release soon? Or keeping in private beta?” -UK-G (@UnitedKingdom_G)
“I am tempted to release a new public beta with what I have. We will see.” -Pwn20wnd (@Pwn20wnd)
Fingers crossed, hopefully, Pwn20wnd will indeed give in to the temptation of releasing a public beta. If that happens, we will finally have a public full-root iOS 12 jailbreak, even if it’s just a beta.
