iOS 12 Jailbreak: Unc0ver v3.0.0 Now Supports A12-A12X Devices, iOS 12.1.1 Beta 3 Can Still Be Restored!
Last week, the jailbreak community faced some disheartening news as Apple was no longer signing in the iOS 12.1.1 Beta 3 firmware which caused them unable to rollback from iOS 12.1.3 or iOS 12.1.4 and uses unc0ver v3.0.0. Fortunately, there was good still news for the jailbreak community as the unc0ver v3.0.0 was updated, allowing iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and iPhone 5s owners able to jailbreak their iPhone running iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2.
This time around, there’s more good news. Unc0ver has been updated to add iPhone XS Max, XS, XR and the new iPad Pro jailbreak support on iOS 12, 12.1.1 and 12.1.2.
The Series Of Announcements
Around 13 hours ago, Pwn20wnd (@Pwn20wnd), made an announcement via Twitter. This was the announcement:
“I will soon be releasing a new version of unc0ver with partial support for A12-A12X devices on iOS 12.0-12.1.2.“
The iPhone XS Max, XS, and XR come with an A12 chip under its hood, while the 2018 iPad Pro features A12X. About an hour later, another announcement was made:
“unc0ver v3.0.0~b44 is now out with partial support for A12-A12X devices.“
Along with the announcement came with a link to a GitHub page for the v3.0.0. To view the Github page, click this link.
An hour later since the second announcement, there was another announcement.
“unc0ver v3.0.0~b45 was released to fix the voucher_swap exploit for the beta firmwares on A12-A12X.“
Just like the second announcement, it came with the same Github link.
