iOS 12 Jailbreak Udpate: Brandon Azad Releases iOS 12.0-12.1.2 Jailbreak Exploit
Gather around, jailbreak fans. We have some new details for you all regarding a possible iOS 12 jailbreak release in the future. This time around, it’s from Brandon Azad (@_bazad), a prominent figure in the jailbreak community, who published an iOS 12.0 to 12.1.2 jailbreak exploit.
Last week, we published an article regarding Azad’s Twitter announcement. The announcement was that those who are interested in bootstrapping iOS kernel security research should keep an A12 research device running on the iOS 12.1.2 firmware.
If you're interested in bootstrapping iOS kernel security research (including the ability to forge PACs and call arbitrary kernel functions), keep an A12 research device on iOS 12.1.2.

Fast forward to the present, according to a report, just a few days ago, the security researcher announced via Twitter an exploit dubbed as “voucher_swap”. The said exploit offers kernel code execution and could be important as developers work toward the first public iOS 12.x.x jailbreak.

As you can see from this second twitter announcement from Azad, it was well received by the jailbreak community, accumulating 949 likes and 366 retweets at the moment. As a matter of fact, other prominent figures in the jailbreak community praised, talked or shared about their findings regarding Azad’s exploit.
Firstly, we have Min(Spark) Zheng (@SparkZheng) who said that the exploit was amazing and gave it 3 thumbs up.
Secondly, we have GeoSn0w (@FCE365) who announced that he was able to get Sandbox Escape working on iOS 12.1.2 iPhone 7 with Azad’s exploit.
Successfully got Sandbox Escape working on iOS 12.1.2 iPhone 7 with Brandon Azad's exploit. Currently, my #Osiris #Jailbreak can get ROOT and escape the sandbox. Also, #QiLin toolkit does work on iOS 12, tho, not fully. It needs a proper update, but I am not surprised. pic.twitter.com/zmQ8QW9lQN

Are There Any Other Expected iOS 12 Jailbreak Releases?
For other potential iOS 12 jailbreak releases, we mentioned in one of our articles published just a few days ago regarding SorryMyBad’s (@S0rryMybad) proof of concept which could work below iOS 12.1.2. In addition to that, there was also the “(Mach) Post-Oriented Programming Attack Proof” series by the Alibaba team, specifically from Min(Spark) Zheng and Xiaolong Bai (@bxl1989).
Are you excited about Azad’s exploit? Would this lead to a public iOS 12 jailbreak? Tell us in the comment section below.
