iOS 12 Jailbreak: Cydia Support For iOS 12 Teased By unc0ver Jailbreak Team
The jailbreak community has something to look forward to in the future. An iOS 12, iOS 12.1.1 beta 3 and iOS 12.1.2 compatible Cydia from unc0ver jailbreak team was shared on social media.
The Teaser Video
Sam Bingner (@sbinger) of unc0ver fame shared via Twitter a 25-second teaser video of Cydia up and running on iOS 12.
Well minimal stuff works – still need to do a lot but I have a shell, Cydia works and substrate mostly works. Don’t hold your breath but it’s progressing. pic.twitter.com/bBbZO2Seoy

As you can see from this Twitter post, it has been well-received by the jailbreak community. At the moment, it has generated 2,400 likes which are really impressive and 581 retweets.
Now the question is: When is it going to be released? Well, we don’t know. But we do hope that will be released soon.
Plus Pwn20wnd has announced via that “Cydia is looking good on iOS 12” but confirmed via Reddit that it will remain in private distribution within the team until CoreTreust workarounds are in place and the sandbox patches are fixed.
With this, it’s basically a waiting game. But hey, at least there’s a semi-finished proof of concept, right?
Other Recent Exploit(s)
Not long ago, well-known developer and hacker tihmstar (@tihmstar) released a jailbreak exploit dubbed as “v3ntex”. The said exploit is reportedly iOS 12-capable.
If this looks familiar to you, you might wanna try to run it on iOS 12 😉
I feel like some thing might still be improved, but idk when i can be bothered to do so.

The v3ntex exploit has been tested by tihmstar on his iPhone 6 running on iOS 12.1.2. And according to its GitHub page, aside from the fact that it’s been tested on iOS 12.1.2, it also works up to iOS 12.1.2 and “gets you tfp0”. Furthermore, he also left a note saying that the exploit can probably be slightly improved to replace at least one non-deterministic component and he might into it some time.
Even Jake James (@Jakeshacks), the man responsible for the RootlessJB tried tihmstar’s exploit as well.
Dammit I can't get tihmstar's exploit to work either. Used offsets I found earlier for v1ntex but it's not even starting the exploit, get "invalid msg-type" on line 778
