iOS 11.4 Jailbreak News: Houdini iOS 11.4 Semi-Jailbreak Installed On An iPad Demoed On A Video
The members of the jailbreak community have another reason to rejoice. Recently, Abraham Masri posted a video showing an iOS 11.4 semi-jailbreak is running on an iPad.
Houdini iOS 11.4 Semi-Jailbreak Details
Masri is a well-known hacker in the jailbreaking community and he has taken to social media to reveal the iOS 11.4 semi-jailbreak which offers a partial crack to the new operating system. It is also worth mentioning that the update was escorted by a link to a YouTube video that shows the Houdini beta 3 is running on an iPad having an iOS 11.4 installed.
In addition, the video also showcases Houdini booting into action and running through numerous portions of its features like hiding the labels on icons before it sendoffs into action. Aside from that, another thing that’s notable in the iOS 11.4 semi jailbreak demo is the number of Quick Actions. This includes the capability to re-spring and reboot to clear space on the iPad by clearing up the files and caches as well as the capability to simply enable or disable system upgrades. These are the welcome change for those frightened of unintentionally upgrading to a new operating system and dealing with shifting onto a version that doesn’t let them get back to firmware not presently signed by the Cupertino-based tech giant.
Masri also demonstrated in the said video the admission to the Sources and Packages tabs at the bottom part of the interface. Both of which appear to be functioning as planned. He then continued to run a number of other Houdini features that gives the impression of a pretty well-developed iOS 11.4 semi- jailbreak toolkit.
Details About the Houdini iOS 11.4 Semi-Jailbreak Maker
It can be recalled that Masri had been inactive on social media for quite some e time before he released this video of the Houdini iOS 11.4 semi-jailbreak. But despite the inactivity to social media, it seems that he’s just working a lot. His last post was way back in March and muddled more than he elucidated regarding susceptibilities that were exposed in info.plist and the Apple’s security daemon.
But then, the progression on Houdini was obviously far enough along to permit a social media post. Also, it’s clear from the video that we’re somewhat close to taking the step further than the iOS 11.4 semi-jailbreak into a full-blown jailbreak toolkit for the present operating system.
At this moment, Masri hasn’t released any details as to when the iOS 11.4 semi-jailbreak using Houdini will become available to the public. But based on the released video, it’s pretty clear to see that it’s fairly far along in progress and will be rolled out into the jailbreak community sooner rather than later. Though we still don’t have a full jailbreak tool, this is a bit closer. It is expected to offer an increased functionality to an extremely locked-down operating system soon.
As far as the public release is concerned, there’s no available information yet. With that, it is advised that you stay tuned for further announcements regarding the Houdini iOS 11.4 semi-jailbreak tool.
